Continuing Education is one of our primary goals

The primary goal of CCAC is to actively promote the continuing education and professional development of City Clerks through extensive education programs, certification, recertification, publications, networking, annual conferences and research opportunities.

Summer: optional June supplemental program

Nuts & Bolts

This seminar will focus on subjects as agendas, minutes, record keeping, contracts, research methods, ordinances, resolutions, and a myriad of other subjects including proper procedures for conducting public meetings in compliance with the Brown Act and other legal requirements.

$175 per participant for CCAC members

$200 per participant for non-members

Scholarship Applications

The CCAC Executive Board authorized the Education Committee to approve scholarships up to the authorized individual award and within the budget established by the board, based on the board's adopted policy.

 

The following information is being provided to assist you in obtaining information to apply for various scholarships throughout the year.

 

Scholarship applications shall NOT be included in the agenda packet and the Education Chairman shall provide a spread sheet on the scholarship applicants.

 

CCAC Institute Scholarship Application/Policy

In order to support the State Institute programs, it was determined that Institute scholarships would not be granted to attend out-of-State IIMC accredited programs.
