The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is seeking an energetic, innovative and proven leader with technical, functional, managerial and customer service expertise as a corporate secretary or municipal clerk. This position manages the operations of the Board Services Department, including agenda coordination for board and committee meetings; ensures compliance with Corporate Governance laws; and reviews agenda reports and materials for completeness and compliance with established policy and procedure. This classification leads and manages others, requiring the exercise of a high degree of independent judgment, initiative and problem solving.

Education, Training and Experience:

A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from a college or university with a bachelor's degree in business, management or public administration, or a closely related field; and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in preparing agendas, taking and transcribing minutes of meetings and explaining policies, procedures and regulations to staff and for the public, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
