Your membership ensures that CCAC can carry out its mission of promoting the profession of Municipal Clerks through education, support, and communication. Your membership entitles you to reduced registration rates for the Annual Conference, League of California Cities’ New Law & Elections Seminar, and various other training opportunities. In addition, members are eligible for numerous scholarship opportunities, may serve on the Board of Directors, and vote in Board elections.

CCAC consists of 16 geographical regions. Each region is represented by a Regional Director and members are automatically assigned to the appropriate geographic region upon payment of dues.

How can I join CCAC?

The CCAC Board of Directors unanimously approved the following changes to membership dues, effective July 1, 2021:

  • Flat rate of $200 per member
  • Membership now remains with the member

Based on membership surveys, most members indicated their support for a simplified membership dues structure and a rate increase to fund enhanced services and programs. We are also transitioning to a new membership management platform, YourMembership. The new platform will simplify the registration process, invoice/receipt retrieval, and online payments. In the coming months, you will hear more from the CCAC Board about reducing Educational Workshop and Athenian Leadership Dialogue registration fees.

Please note there will be a delay in sending out membership renewal notices as we transition to the new platform. You will receive updates as we have more information. If you have questions, please contact us at [email protected]
